IMEV’s analytical services, under the supervision of CNRS – INSU, include the « Service of Pigment Analysis by HPLC (SAPIGH) » and the « Sediment Trap ». These services provide expertise ranging from sample processing to data analysis, and offer a wide range of analyses: measurement of phytoplankton pigments in the marine environment, composition of particulate matter (organic and inorganic carbon, silica, phosphate and major metals such as Al, Fe, Ca).
The “Cellule Pièges” platform is a National Analytical Service (CNRS/INSU) created in 1992 and certified since 2021 by the INSU’s Ocean-Atmosphere Scientific Commission (CSOA). Its mission is to process and analyze particulate samples from sediment traps, mesocosms, and other instruments deployed across various scientific projects and observation programs.
