IMEV’s Marine Biological Resource Center (CRB) comprises 3 platforms (SA, CCPv, MCCV) providing access to single- or multi-cellular marine organisms, either living or preserved after fixation.
The CRB is one of the Sorbonne University / EMBRC-France accredited platforms, and is also open to external users.

The expertise and facilities of Villefranche’s Aquariology Department support scientific research on marine organisms, both cultivated and laboratory-grown. The department contributes to research into new marine models and experimental development.

The Institut de la Mer and its supervisory bodies are actively involved in the French Year of the Sea and UNOC’3. As at the One Ocean Science Congress, they will take part in scientific exchanges and associated events.
