The IT and Network Department (SIR) supports IMEV’s five missions: research, observation, training, science outreach, and hosting. The department manages the IT and network infrastructure and handles system administration (security, monitoring) and information systems. It also provides support to all users on site, as well as to the national and international oceanographic research community that uses the data made available by the accredited observation services.
